Annie Lennox is a kindly old Southern woman who first possessed Diet Coke during Episode #58 after Lilith cast a spell in attempt to protect the house from Beatles and summon other musicians. Prior to this, Lennox was in the Hellraiser pain dimension, where she had a talk with Pinhead. Although Annie Lennox previously appeared in Diet Coke and Lilith's streams on Twitch, this is Annie Lennox version 4.0, so all of her Twitch appearances are not canon to this continuity. Despite Lilith's attempt to summon another musician, Annie Lennox is not the same Annie Lennox who was in Eurythmics and does not know what Eurythmics is. She has a daughter who she regrets not always being there for.[1]
She listens to country music and is a fan of George Strait. She believes that Annie Lennox 2.0 put some kind of software lock on her phone, a curse that prevents her from listening to shows hosted by homosexuals, but she is working on getting around it.[5]
In 1969, she removed the part of her brain that allowed her to have dreams because of some uncomfortable truths she saw about the universe. Part of that understanding was that podcasts are a natural byproduct of technology and the human condition and in fact part of its evil nature. "We should probably end this one, because I don't feel necessarily good about participating in what I know in my heart is an evil thing."[6]
Like a Beatle, during her first appearance, she felt compelled by some kind of force to end the podcast episode by delivering a variation of the Snack-Keeper's usual show outro: "Goodbye, ghosts and ghoulies. I don't know, something inside me is telling me to say this. We'll snack you later. My, the House of Snacks is closed again."
During her third appearance, Lennox revealed that she can sometimes hear things from Diet Coke and Lilith's realm, (although she does not necessarily believe she is in a different realm than them) so she brought Lilith a Red Bull Gold after overhearing that it is a good flavor from Lilith's friend Robbie and having a sudden strange feeling that she could use it.
Every time she possessed Diet Coke, she felt an intruding presence coming from the House of Snax basement erecting a psychic barrier to keep her out, and she could feel the presence growing bigger with each day. With that growth, her ability to visit the House of Snax via possession faded. Before saying goodbye, she and Lilith both said "I love you" and said they would miss each other.[1]
She later appeared in person as a presenter during the 113th Snack Academy Awards Ceremony in California.
According to lore given by the Snack Description Entity, Annie Lennox was murdered by a Judge Dredd-like figure (Unit Four Seven) in 2006 after she violated corporate copyright by inventing Oreo Cakesters with the intention of selling the recipe to Nabisco in order to care for her infant child.[7] Diet Coke and Lilith theorized that either Annie Lennox is a ghost or the given year 2006 was actually referring to some point in the future in which years are named differently. She may also be a future ghost.[7]
