The Space Bug Invasion is a series of hypothetical world-changing events that might happen in the near future. Diet Coke and Lilith discussed the invasion during Episode #38 of Diet Coke & Lilith's House of Snax, "Gromulax's Glistening Thorax," which was recorded between Episodes #32 and #33. Lilith later referred to these events as "some kind of bug uprise that happened in canon."[1]
The Invasion[]
Bugs from space killed all of the presidents and have installed themselves as the new leaders of Earth. Normal snacks are no longer available, as now everyone eats a nutrient paste every day. They are also given blue space milk, which is the cum that Luke drinks in The Last Jedi. When the press realized that the space milk from Star Wars was real, newspapers everywhere contained headlines such as "Cum is Real" and "Breaking News: Cum Real."
Impact on House of Snax[]
Diet Coke and Lilith plan to review the nutrient paste on their podcast, but they are waiting until Lilith is able to find the flaming hot nutrient paste so they can do a dual episode where they review both kinds of nutrient paste. Getting flaming hot nutrient paste is difficult, but Lilith has been involved in talks with the regional overlord Gromulax and is getting close to having some. Diet Coke and Lilith have sold out some of their people in order to get the flaming hot nutrient paste, which they assure will be worth it, because reviewing it on the podcast provides hope to people, which is a greater service to society than what the thousands of people that they signed over to the bugs would have done. Also, the gristle of the people that Diet Coke and Lilith signed over to the bug overlords will probably make Gromulax's thorax stronger. It is important to keep Gromulax strong, because when he cuts peoples' heads off, the muscle comes from his thorax, and having a clean cut will make the beheadings more tolerable.
