"Maybe the Snack Oscars just aren't canon anymore."

"The Snack Academy Awards" is the 87th episode of Diet Coke & Lilith's House of Snax. In the episode, Diet Coke and Lilith covered the 113th Snack Academy Awards (informally known as the Snackademy Awards, the Snack Oscars, the Oscar Meyers[1]). The ceremony took place in a theater in Los Angeles, California. It was a yellow code event and ended in a tragic flood with several casualties, including Nick Wiger.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]

During Episode #107, Diet Coke and Lilith discussed the episode:

Diet Coke: Sometimes we do [write the Snack-Keeper stuff]. Sometimes it works out well, and sometimes you get the Snack Oscars, my greatest failure... I wanted to get it out sometime around the Oscars. I didn't wanna let go of the idea, but in retrospect, I should've. Lilith: If we put in a little more work, it would've been great. I think it was just a few shades off of absolutely great. It wasn't our best.

In Episode #111, Snack-Keeper III said, "I've been debating recently, maybe the Snack Oscars just aren't canon anymore."
